Bee Cave Vote For Prop G!

The passage of Proposition G could bring several potential benefits to Bee Cave residents and the community:

  • Public Accountability: With all conditions and specifics of city property transactions disclosed, it holds elected officials accountable, making it harder for decisions to be made behind closed doors.
  • Balanced Governance: The provision that excludes the need for voter approval of city property purchases but requires open disclosure balances efficiency (allowing timely purchases) with transparency (informing the public about the details).

Help Spread the Word

Six months ago, voters from across Bee Cave signed a petition to add a proposition to the November ballot. Thanks to their dedication to improving government transparency and increasing public engagement, Proposition G is now up for a vote. Now, the challenging part begins, and we need your support!

Here’s how you can help pass Prop G:

    • Make a plan to vote and encourage your friends and neighbors to do the same. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th, but early voting—running from Monday, October 21st to Friday, November 1st— is the most convenient way to ensure your vote is counted. Check the Travis County Clerk’s website for early voting and Election Day polling locations, wait times, and sample ballots.
    • Spread the word: Tell at least two friends or neighbors about Prop G and how it will improve transparency in city decisions and increase voter engagement.
    • Share your support: Post a quick message on your neighborhood email list, Facebook, or Nextdoor. Like, comment on, and share pro-Prop G posts on social media to boost visibility!
